This June/July, EMC hits the road with a series of FREE events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. EMC Connect gathers artists and industry friends in these cities for songwriting workshops for artists, a close look at the state of play in the electronic music sector and an industry consultation so we can hear from you on what is important to you, what challenges you’re facing in your day to day, and how we may be able to help each other navigate our way through an industry where the only constant is change.

EMC Connect Sydney event includes:
- Up close and personal workshops with Pantheon & Nyxen deconstructing their upcoming release ‘Timewarp’ from initial concept, through the creative process including the demo stage to finished song.;
- An industry discussion delving into the current state of play in all facets of the electronic music sector from streaming to publishing, touring & events, media, artist development and the current political forces at play around the country in terms of legislations, inquiries and compliance developments that affect our sector;
- An industry consultation to align on which areas are currently the most challenging for our sector to assist us with how we can best address these together;
- A continuing conversation over networking drinks, the perfect mid-year mixer before EMC in Sydney this November.
