CHARCOAL

TYPE: LIVE MUSIC

WHEN: 5-7pm – 28 Oct 2016

COST: FREE

CHARCOAL is the brainchild of Cameron Barnett, a Sydney musician/producer who loves to combine the music of the past with the spontaneity and endless possibility of the moment.
Inspired by sample-heavy free-download acts such as Gramatik and Pretty Lights, Charcoal gives jazz, folk and world music a 21st-century twist with low-temp beats and live instruments. The result is eclectic, groovy and has something for everyone’s tastes.

This performance will see Charcoal debuting a batch of original tracks in a relaxed part-DJ-part-live setting. Think Girl Talk collaborating with Benny Goodman and you’re on the right track.
