Audiocraft Presents: Radio Atlas

Come along to the opening night of Audiocraft Podcast Festival 2018, Australia’s leading podcast event connecting creators and fans alike.

Kicking off the festivities is a podcast party, of course! This very special edition of Audiocraft Presents features Radio Atlas, created and curated by producer Eleanor McDowall (Falling Tree Productions, UK).

Radio Atlas is an English-language home for subtitled audio from around the world. A place to hear inventive documentaries, dramas and works of sound art that have been made in languages you don’t necessarily speak.

Doors open 7pm for 7:30pm start.

About the Artists

Eleanor McDowall is a senior producer at Falling Tree Productions and runs Radio Atlas in her spare time. She's the series producer of BBC Radio 4's Short Cuts—a space for new, innovative short documentaries from around the world—and has produced long-form documentaries on roller derby, Italo Calvino and the art of professional wrestling amongst other things.

Audiocraft is the leading organisation for radiomakers and podcasters in Australia. In addition to their annual podcast festival, they run a content agency specialising in high quality audio productions. Audiocraft also host events, run a mentoring program and co-curate the Australian Audio Guide.
