This event has been postponed. Please check back for updates on the new date.

Join Bec Litvan and curator Jackie Terrett for an evening of art making and crafting with the artist of Prima Bella. All funds raised will go towards supporting breast cancer research and the artist's own practice.

Each guest should bring a bra or an item of clothing (get creative!). You will leave with your own lumpy masterpiece, reminiscent of Bec's work.

About Bec

Bec Litvan is an artist and designer based in Sydney, Australia. Her sole inspiration is her mother, who was diagnosed and survived a rare form of stage 3 breast cancer. Her work transfigures and celebrates the disabled body ravaged by breast cancer, and the consequent dehumanising medical procedures. Specifically, it focuses on enhancing the aesthetics of bodily scarring in order to contest the prejudicial and marginalising societal attitudes and constraints regarding the disabled female form.
