About the callouts…
The callouts allow you to apply for dates in advance, ideal for; exhibitions, performance seasons, workshop series, and large events that require more planning and promotion time. In general, spots are limited to a maximum of 2 weeks. Though we’re always open to negotiation if your idea is truly inspiring.
Applications are open to individuals, groups, not for profit orgs, corporate orgs, sole traders, (i.e. everyone). Hire fees are on a sliding scale, with up to 50% off the standard hire rate offered to projects that are creative, unique, relevant to/or support local communities.
What are We Looking For?
107 exists for the advancement of culture, it says so on our charity profile! We’re looking for creative projects that share this vision as well as our ethos of social inclusion, constructive criticism, D.I.Y., and positivity!
Presentation of new works, works in development, interdisciplinary practices, and community engagement tickle our fancy. Re-stagings of the popular classics, cover bands, or Van Gogh reproductions not so much…
How to Apply…
- Read this info, these are good to have in mind too; venue handbook, tech list, indicative pricing
- Get your images and web links ready (max 5 of each, each image 2MB max)
- Collate written supporting material (e.g. artist CV’s, diagrams, venue layouts, brochures etc.) into a single pdf (2MB max.)
- Fill out the online form
The assessment process usually takes about 3 weeks from the closing date for applications. Spots are limited and competitive, give the application your best effort!
